When working with Shave, it would be great to be able to have the vray hair material be able to sample UV coords so that we could use them to texture attributes like diffuse, overall color, primary and secondary spec, transmission etc. without having to use the hair sampler node to get values from the shave color in the shave node.

I seem to remember that we gave Joe the code to generate proper UVs for the hairs, but for whatever reason the V-Ray shader was not getting the actual UV information from the Shave engine. Joe may have fixed this, I have to check, but I don't think there is anything else we can do on our side.
