Update:
Nevermind, I found the reason. The V-Ray Material renders by default double sided and the "Glass-Mesh" was back facing the camera therefore invisible.

It seems I run again into a bug that is related to importing geometry and getting a black rendering.
Last time it was scene framerate and the exposure settings of the Physical camera.
This time, when I import a model and I add a v-ray material v-ray is rendering a black screen,
using the modo material v-ray renders correctly.
