Hi Vladimir
I really like that vray is so deeply integrated into modo but it is also confusing me a little too. Please can you explain a few basics to me?
I always ignored the render settings tab when I used vray as a renderer. Just now I tried sorting out some reflection/ refraction issues and realized the raytracing panel does influence the vray renderer.
I changed the reflection depth and refraction depth and it solved my issues. but then under the same tab is a maximum radiance value...and under vray main there is it's own max ray intensity.
Am I supposed to use the modo settings and also the vray settings? I would have expected them to be together for vray.
What I am trying to find out....how would I and any other new user know when to use settings under modo settings or not.
PS. I kept changing the reflection/ refraction values on the materials but it had no difference, so I changed the globals and it worked
