      Hi Muhammed

Many thanks for the schematic of the yellow material that Grant showed in his first video on materials. Would it be possible to check mine below please? I notice you have a first Fresnel node - do I need this too? What is it?

Im posting my attempts here, hoping it will help others working through the same thing..

@Spud Cheers buddy! Im not convinced mine is working totally, as when I turn off the second and third layers, the ball does not look that different. I'll take another look and post anything that finally works...

            True!
The third coat only shows. Can you show me your curves in gradient editor?

I did notice that you were using the modo colour correct and then passing them through Vray "colour correction", why did you need to do that? also where did you find it?
I can see "colour correct" but not Vray "colour correction"

i must say, quite impressive how you managed to break it all down and apply it in the schematic view. I've always glance at schematic but now I'm finally using it, thanks to you.

                  Looking forward to your video.

the native color correct node doesn't appear in shadertree,so I cannot set it to Bump .. You can find it under Vray utilities menu
Schematic is really fun to use

This is Fab Muhammed and explains the transition between Grants approach and your more simplified technique.

I can see why you were saying it is easier and more powerful in Modo.

                          Mega helpful

                          Thanks!

@Peepo @Spudboy You are welcome! glad it was useful. You can apply the same technique to lesson 4 ,7,8,10 and 11
When I get to my workstation I will make more videos. Hopefully in few days.
