  • Does VrayProxy support UDIMs?

    Hello,

have a question if there is a way of using udim's with VrayProxy?

also, is it possible to control the scale of an object imported from OBJ by using "Convert and load non-vrmesh geometry" option? When I import the model from zBrush in a normal way, it has the same size like before exported to zB, while I import it as a proxy the scale is multiplied by x10. To avoid it I use 3D Print Export plugin in zBrush where I can put size of the object in millimeters to make sure it will match what I have in MODO in this case. Was wonder if there is a shorter way of doing it?

    thanks,
    P.

I did a quick simple test and this seems to work fine. Are you having some troubles with this ?

I don't think there is an option for this in the ply2vrmesh tool.

Maybe you can use the scale option when exporting ? http://docs.pixologic.com/reference-...lymesh/export/

      Hi Vladimir,

      thanks for your replay.
I was in the rush with the project so I skip fighting with my two questions. I wasn't able to find the answer why the same object (OBJ) imported in a normal way has udims while imported via vrayproxy has not. I will test it more on the upcoming project. If you say it work on your side then something happened with my model.

As for the scale, thanks for the tip, I wasn't aware about scale option. Aldo, I still prefer to use 3D Print Export plugin. I will test it futher too.

      Thanks,
      Peter.
