  • BAKING in MODO

    Is it possible to use the "Bake to Texture" command in the shader tree with a VRay Blend material. All I'm getting is a solid black result : (
    Any advice would be appreciated. THANKS! : ))

    No, that won't work. The V-Ray textures/materials do not work with the Modo renderer.

        No, unfortunately, baking is not available in V-Ray for Modo. Sorry about that.

          OK. So the only way around this would be to create all the materials that require baking as Modo materials, bake them and re. import the images to use for the V-ray materials?
          I am trying to optimize a scene for rendering and the diffuse attribute is a blended material that has several AO processing layers too...
