    Hello,
I hope someone can help solve this mystery.

I'm getting a smudge on my multi layered material. These have been working fine until this morning. I set it up as a VRay multi layered image and as a shader tree group mask with the same outcome. The preview is fine but once I start the GPU render, it has this problem.

I just updated to the most recent nightly build and that hasn't solved the issue.

I'm using Progressive sampler type. I switched to Adaptive and it rendered OK. Any thoughts on why it would have this issue?

    I'm on Modo 14.0 V2.

    I'm on a PC with a Quadro P 4000 graphics card on Windows 10.

    Thank you in advance.

Maybe there are overlapping polygons ?
It looks a bit like that.

ID:	1075933Thanks Vladimir,
It's a flat poly plane that's having issues. The Adaptive sampling is working. I'm also getting a machine crash while working so it may be my machine.

      What do you think?

      Thanks for the quick response.

        The Adaptive sampling is working.
That's a bit strange, if it were overlapping polygons, I don't think it would work.

        What do you think?
Can't say from the screen shot, maybe try running the mesh clean up command or try selecting a polygon.
If they are overlapping, I think Modo will select both.
