Hi there, when I use a material for global override (opaque) I cannot scale the material, therefore it is difficult to set up a a model/maquette view with a complex model without manually altering the mapping of all materials in the appearance manager. Help!

Here is a workaround I would suggest.
I assume you already have the override material which you want to assign to the Opaque.
(images are attached to illustrate the below steps)
Step 1: In the V-Ray Asset Editor, create a UVW Placement from the Textures menu.
Step 2: Set the textures of your material to use Mapping Source as a placement type.
Step 3: Drag-n-drop the UVW Placement asset over the Mapping Source slot (choose to paste it "as instance", i.e. 1 UVW Placement will be associated with all the textures of the material).
With the UVW Placement, you will be able to control the textures altogether.Ana Lyubenova

At this point, as a workaround for using the material for the Infinite Ground Plane, you can duplicate the material and set an appropriate scale as described by Ana.Last edited by teodora_kosheva; 28-09-2022, 02:48 AM.
