  • Caustic options lost at latest nightly?

I can't find the caustic options at the global options anymore. Did I overseen it or are they removed?

It looks like you mean the GI caustic. I'm looking for the photon caustic UI like shown at lesson 6.

Photon mapped caustics are not available in V-Ray GPU, thus this section is only displayed when CPU engine is toggled.
GI caustics are available in both engines.
Note that in V-Ray Next for Rhino's UI both GI Caustics and Photon Mapped Caustics are moved within the Global Illumination section.

        Kind regards,
        Peter

          I found it, thank you.

Not easy to find, since the advanced mode needs to be enabled also. I think, it's not a so good idea to hide the AO and caustic options by the advanced switch. Also I very miss to keep the advanced modes. It's cumbersome to search options and to switch modes all days.

Having the Configuration > Asset Properties default level switch affect the GI settings section will be considered.
