  • Asset preview right working?

I tested the new scenes for the texture preview and ask me, it is right to see the texture 2 times here? It's confusing to see the map tiled.

What means the "3D" preview? It looks like "2D".

    Hi Micha,

I can't seem to reproduce this here, does it happen with every bitmap you are slotting?

In type "Environment" mode it's visible always.

Apologies for the oversight, didn't notice the preview swatch was set to GPU. This is now logged into our internal bug-tracking system so our devs can have a look.

You may see a difference between these two preview swatches only when the texture they present can be projected in 3D space. The 3D swatch is essentially a projection over a cube.
Here are a couple of examples I posted a while ago that should help you understand what you are looking at:

As for the problem with the Environment swatch - it is a limitation of the GPU engine. Thanks to your report, as Nikoleta already mentioned, our dev team will look into amending it.

          Kind regards,
