V-Ray file path editor hang

Hi Guys
When I have a missing texture, the V-Ray file path editor hangs. What it is doing? I could see three dot in the middle of the interface
Using V-Ray 5.2

Hey javierrentas,

It is actually checking the files' existence - the loader was introduced with our latest update. Prior this introduction, the File Path Editor was not always displaying the correct state of the files listed (i.e., missing/embedded textures).

Once loaded, everything should appear as expected. However, if you do have any issues - i.e. unexpectedly long loading times, please share so we can have a look. Thanks!

In my case, the file path editor never finishes loading. I have waited more than 20 minutes and still the same.
I will try again today.

I made another test today, I after 1 hour the file path editor still loading. I only have 11 items in the file path editor and only one is missing his texture.
This makes the file path editor useless.

This loading thing is killing me. Now the loading hangs on my V-Ray materials folder even that the path is correct and there is no update to the materials inside my library.
Is V-Ray searching my entire HD?

When is this hotfix being issued? I literally cannot do any work until this is fixed.

We'll do our best to release a hotfix quickly.
There are a couple other important fixes which we would like to include and that we're working on right now.

We can potentially put out a Stable build with the File Path Editor fix in the following days.
I'll let you know when there is something to test.

I'll be uploading stable builds for testing soon (will let you know when they are available).
An official hotfix should be released next week.
