  • Qt platform error

    Hi,

recently i’m having this issue when i try to import, insert or open an obj or fbx. It happens since the last Vray update.

I've talked with McNeel and we've notice it's something related to Vray, if i disable Vray plugin there's no problem importing obj or fbx.
I've also tried uninstalling Vray and making a clean install but it always appears

    Any idea?

    Thanks

    Hi,

If there is a crash after the message appears, there should be also a dump file(with the extension .dmp) generated in the desktop.
Can you please send the .dmp file here: https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new so our devs can investigate?
The file should be quite huge so don't worry if it ends up being over a gig. The uploading platform in the link above should be more than capable to transfer it.
If the program is not crashing you can still force a .dmp file to be generated through the Task Manager. Right-click on the process and select Generate dump file.

Thank you for the provided file!
Please update Chitubox to version 1.9.1.
Chitubox is using a global handler with the same version of Qt as V-Ray is using and that is why this is occurring.
The issue described here is the same https://forums.chaos.com/forum/v-ray...rash-on-export

Let me know if the update resolves the issue.
