  • Vray 6 suddenly crashing

note: see second update below, all is back to normal.

    Hello,
What does this message mean, and can I use it to solve the crash?
    {"name":"vray-neui","hostname":"Glenn","pid":1924,"level":50,"so urce":"V-Ray","msg":"[VUtils::PinnedGPUBuffer::uploadAsync] 718: Failed to upload buffer of size 4!","time":"2022-12-15T17:36:03.528Z","v":0}
There are about 2000 lines of that message, then Vray crashes & Rhino closes.
Model has been stable until yesterday, I made a days worth of changes.
There are 4 Rhino clipping planes for the room, associated with 4 saved views.
Each saved view rendered until recent additions to room.
2 of the views render fine, 2 crash.
Other projects/files render fine, only crashing here.
    CUDA GPU & CPU
    Thanks,
    Glenn

    Update
I remade an emissive material (plain white, no texture) as version 6 (was originally created in V5).
That material is in another part of the model, not shown in any of the 4 views/clips I am using today.
That has ended the crashes, but now these errors in VFB log:
    (here is a partial)
    Thanks,
    Glenn

    SECOND Update
I updated Nvidia driver to current recommended 526.98, and no more log errors listed in last update.
    So rendering as should be.
    Thanks,
    Glenn
