  • FIXED: RCM

    Hi,

Trying to install b7, I get an "error Loading - Loading - \Rcm.rhp"

The Rcm.rhp file is indeed in the Rcm directory, but it will not load (not even manually)

    (Brazil was uninstalled previously)

    Any hints ?

    Thanks

Hi Thomas, good to see you

In case you didn't read in the announcement section, the build 7 release notes ...Joeb mentions that unintalling the Brazil Wip will break VrayRhino.

...so, I'm thinking there's your issue. ...and perhaps you've already fixed it.

hmm, I thought I read that part a couple of times :P

Because the Brazil WIP uses RCM as well, installing VRay for Rhino will **BREAK** the current WIP of Brazil. Also if you install a Brazil WIP it will **BREAK** Vray for Rhino.
So, I uninstalled Brazil before installing Vray; so as to start from a clean slate ... No ?

Did you uninstall build 6 before installing 7? I uninstalled brazil, uninstalled build 6, installed 7 and it seems to work.

...so, you don't currently have a Brazil Wip installed, ...is that correct?

I guess my question would be: Can one just leave Brazil installed and install Build 7 and 'break' the Brazil wip and there will be no problems?

              FIXED: RCM

there has been an issue discovered on Windows 2000 machines in which a dll is missing that Rcm needs. Do you have Windows2000? If so get in contact with crubadue@asgvis.com and he can probably help you directly.

We just discovered this issue late last night
