I saw it somehow - when you press pause your render tread changes its priority to low. I made a prog to freeze the whole tread for max, so it freezes max with vray.
But if freeze time is kinda big (smth like ** hours) it can't be unfreezed, coz of windows specifics.
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

Actually I never needed the pause button. If you want your cpu to go to other progs, just set the max (or rhino) prog to low priority and it won't bother you anymore.

How / where do you do that? I would appreciate that... thanks
And specify that Rhino3.exe should be set to low always. But if you then open two rhino's, they are both at low priortity of course. So if one is rendering you will need to set the other to normal or you can't work anymore.
