    All the copper materials do that,since the very first time materials have been made available with the install,and I also think that the reflection color is not at the right place.

      You're correct Renee, that color should really be in the filter slot. I'm not sure who originally made those materials but thats not really the "correct" way to make those kinds of materials.

        Hi,
        I have found two bugs>
        1) if I set the sun light options (place, date and time) than i press OK, and than I again want to modify sun light options than I can see that the options move back to the default setings.

        2) The top view and standard camera. Render seams the same like if I use the physical camera for top view in VRfR 4 v1.0. Render isn't ortho view because it is with perspective distortion.

          Sometimes the sun stops giving shadows or light at all.I think it is when i have been fiddling around in the options dialogue. When i put a new sun in and delete the old one, everything is fine again.
          Bug?

            From Jorgen: Alpha maps aren't read from a standard Rhino material.

              For that I'm waiting a long time - it could help to keep the material editor clean at architecture projects. At the moment, for every transparency mapped plant or billboard people a new VfR material must be created. :-\

                ... deactivated maps (usage of the little flag of the texture "M") are reset to "none", if the Rhino file is closed and reopen.

                  ... last we talk about it: the physical cam DOF works, but only if the the override focal distance is used at PhysCam and DOF. This should work with an internal link to the Rhino cam.

                      Just get something that look a little bit like a bug, I setup all my scene with correct light and setting, VFB crash, so I save and restart Rhino....press "render", everything is black, not even only black but the phase "render Image" never really start(progress bar do not move), tried to copy and past light and object in a new file, same. Tried to create a new scene with an other object : no Problem.
                      --> quite a probleme when you must re-assgin material too a complexe scene.

                          Hello asgvis Team,

                          I just tried to use the search function of the forum but did not have any success to find the searched terms from which I knew they exist... can you check if search is working...


                          I also have troubles with a few new bugs:

                          - sometimes hidden objects are rendered (could also be somehow block related ...)
                          - sometimes the rendered frame buffer does not match the view port view, it seems to be zoomed in or something, it is not related to viewport ratio or zoom override under the vray settings, it really seems to be a bug, I will send a scene tomorrow.

                          another thing which is actually old but very dangerous : when working on the material editor, especially during material previews rhino becomes very fragile and crashes quite often, better do not touch anything during these render process especially repetitively hitting the preview button...


                          another old thing is the blocks, which are not rendering consistent all the time, especially when they have been mirrored...

                            @Andy: the zoom effect is visible with physical cam or? Seems to be a bug, the old VfR version dosn't show this effect, phys cam renderings was matching the rhino viewport. Also I have seen this chaotic zooming of the phys cam after viewport manipulation.

                            Other bug: 2Sided materials seems to dosn't work.

                              I tried everything to get rid of it in the scene, but had no success at all...
                              I imported views from other scenes, switched from physical cam to normal cam, reseted all settings...

                              are you able to use the forum search function ? seems to be broken here,
                              so it is hard for me to check if a bug was already posted or if there is a workaround...

                                Andy, search function isn't working here too. And for the camera problem - I have seen it once I open an old file. Best, you send ASGvis your Rhino file.
