the colors of the dots match the color on the boxes. And the invalid light cache is a mapping problem, something as a mapping with no map assigned. So close the layers on which the boxes are,and see if it makes a difference. And alsoare your maps jpeg? I have had problems with those in vray,i now stick to tga or png.
Renee
you are probably right renee. and yes, this time I used jpg because my source was jpg and then I cropped etc etc but stay to jpg. I don't know for the mapping with no maps, because I really after this bug, delete this solid and create a whole new one, and apply my frosted glass texture and it didn't change something. but still, it's all kind of color of dots, and yes it can be linked to the blocks in front of it.

Yeah thats what we figured as well - he's breaking down those blocks and checking the images applied to them and all of that good stuff. Don't worry, its in good hands
Ok - well it seems that Vlado might be aware of what the issue is. We explained the invalid light cache stuff and he requested your scene so he could look into it. I'm sorry I can't give you an answer at this moment but hopefully Vlado will figure out whats going on with the LC.
Vlado just emailed me - the issue was caused by a fault in the V-Ray bitmap buffer plugin. He's sending us a revised version so this shouldn't cause us anymore problems after the upcoming service release. Sorry for the inconveniance
When Joe handed the scene off to me that was the first thing that I did (change the jpgs to pngs), and unfortunately it didn't help anything. Same artifacts. Same invalid LC samples.
