    Re: color stripes on the render image

    You could share your Rhino file (without the model details), so that we could test it at other computers. If there is a bug, I would like to find it.

        Re: color stripes on the render image

        Hmm, I tested it and got a light banding only. But if I click with the RMB in the image and look at the pixel info, than the color jump at a band is only one greystep. So, if I can see one greystep, than for me it's a question of the monitor.

        I'm not sure it's important against banding, but I would change the values:

        * enable color correction for input
        * never use a so low burn value
        * 60 IM interpolation samples are a lot, I use 20..30 most
        * LC sample size 0.02 is quite high, I use 0.01 .. 0.005 most
        * LC "use for glossy rays" could be enabled

            I think no. If the setup is the same, than both output images should be the same. If I would test it, than I would compare the output images at the same screen.

              I was it tested, therefore i have this quaestion....I note, then i use like primari engine DMC, then the banding is out too....maybe is problem in irradiance map....://

                Re: color stripes on the render image

                Hmm, and there is no noise that hide the banding? Maybe one of the ASGvis moderators could test it.

                  I set high qualitty of a render to minimize a noise that not occured distortion....

                  One more thanks Micha for your time in this problem!

                    Here is next one image.....

                    This image show then the reflection is not affect a banding...:/

                    And unfortunately, HDR format (16 or 32 bit...) is not solution too (

                      Re: color stripes on the render image

                      I found one solution of this problem....When i use rectangural light and the choice "store with irradiance map" is off, then the stripes is out.....

                      But rectagural light make problems in interior - sometime nonsense bleaching in negative corners, like here: http://forum.asgvis.com/index.php?topic=7331.0
