Re: color stripes on the render image
Try to save the image in exr from Vfb, then adjust exposure, gamma, contrast etc... in Photoshop, working with 32bit image should prevent any banding effect.

Re: color stripes on the render image
Ya, ALTO you are right - this is post-edited image, but it is not important in this problem..:/ I usualy save image from VfB to PNG format. I have never problem....
I use Gimp for postproces, and gimp unknown EXR format and unfortunately Photoshop 7 too...
I post other scene - studio scene only with two rectagural lights and backround and two images, save direct from VfB without post-editing, one is in PNG and next one in JPG...
here is PNG:
here is JPG:
and here is a scene: scene file

Re: color stripes on the render image
Lostf of thing missing in the scene file, backGR image.
But all seems to be the combination of the color of the lights, try to incresase the Photon Subdivisions in each light like 3000.
when using LC use Adaptative Subdivision its faster and better results, also the nosie threshold its too low, you can use 0.005.
and in the IM use higher numbers in the HSPH. and lower in the Samples. (ex. 90 - 35)
This test washes a little bit more the stripes.

Re: color stripes on the render image
The last images are quite good looking. Do you use a good TFT and a calibartion device? If not, than the TFT could cause the banding issue. Some times I can see the banding here too and the grey value jump is value 1 (of 255) only. Than I think, it's time to calibrate the screen again.
At old tube monitors the problem isn't visible so often.www.simulacrum.de - visualization for designer and architects

leobonilla1985: I must tested your settings....
Micha: It is not problem only monitor because banding is on the print image too...:/
I still trying change setting and then run render......Is able then qualitty of a render influence harware ? I try a render on "home-PC" (before in work) and i think the result ist better like from work-PC....

Re: color stripes on the render image
For monitor calibration ... this image should be without color effects and banding (Gamma 2.2):
Maybe it would help to work with Gamma 1, but than all your device need the correct color managment. I don't know so much about it, but at the www you could find some infos.www.simulacrum.de - visualization for designer and architects

This artefact is on the printed image too - this is not "monitor problem"
Vray works quite well here, so I think, it could be an other reason.www.simulacrum.de - visualization for designer and architects

Re: color stripes on the render image
Colore managment between printer is Ok....i was it today all day long tested....:/
One man from SK rhino forum has a idea then problem is in a simple material with only difuse layer...I added a reflection layer and the stripes are out....But reflection with low higliht and reflection glossiness make in vain long rendertime...:/

Re: color stripes on the render image
Sounds like an interesting workaround - what is if you lower the reflection intensity?www.simulacrum.de - visualization for designer and architects
