  • 2 Point Perspective Rendering Slips Viewport Alignment

    Hello,
It seems that V-Ray renders an offset viewport when the Rhino viewport is set to "2 Point Perspective." Anyone know how to correct this? The standard Rhino renderer is fine...looks like this is specfic to V-Ray.
    Rhino 5 / 64-bit Windows installation.
    Thanks,
    Ron

    Hello Ron-

You may have to post some images to show us what you are talking about. The only thing that I can think could be wrong is that the view aspect being rendered does not match the Rhino viewport. You can set the view aspect ratio to match the viewport in the rendering options under the Output rollout by selecting the "Get View Aspect" button. The rendered two point perspective should match the Rhino viewport.

    Best regards,

      Hi there!

I exactly know what you're talking about, since I've got the same problem. I hope that anybody reads this and can help. I've attached 3 files to this post: The first one shows a rendering with standard settings and a normal perspective. The second one shows the viewport of the 2 point perspective. And the third one the resulted rendering. You can clearly see the offset problem that rwitte tried to explain.

      Any suggestions?

Looks like the problem appears when set new camera locations, can i try your simple scene?

          Hi there,

i've got exactly the same problem with the two-point-perspective camera in rhino. There's indeed an offset problem between rhino's viewport and the vray-framebuffer. Is there any solution yet? this is kinda annoying...

          Best, Marko
