  • Two point perspective broken?

I dont manage to use the two point perspective correctly anymore. if the camera is far from the origin the two point persepctive gives absurd results. I am working in meters and if I move the scene just a few meters above the origin, the perspective gets completely wrong. I am not applying any tilt shift correction as it wasnt anymore necessary in this version.
the version I am using is 36002 (core is 3.60.04)
    Any idea?

    Hello,

Thank you for reporting this! (and for your email as well)
So far we have been unable to reproduce the issue using both official and internal builds.
Could you please provide some additional info that may help us with the investigation:

    - Full version number of Rhino
    - Are there any changes to lens length between each screenshot?
    - Do you happen to be using custom V-Ray options (.vropt files)?
    - Does the issue occur with every project?
    - Are you using any other 3rd-party plugins beside V-Ray for Rhino?

    Kind regards,
    Peter

      Hello Peter,
      Thanks for your reply

      1. Rhino 5.14.522.8390, 05/22/2017
      2. No change. the scene is made for pure testing. there are 2 cameras: camera 2 is an exact copy of camera 1 just 30m above it.
      3. No custom vray options
      4. so far yes, every project
      5. Yes, using regularly VisualARQ, never had an issue before. There is also Lands Design installed and Weavebird.

Attached you can find the testing file I used

Thank you for providing the scene!
The issue you've stumbled upon is definitely a bug. Our developers are already onto it.
As a temporary workaround, lower the problematic viewport Camera and Camera Target Z location values.

Hopefully, this will be resolved in the next update.

        Kind regards,
        Peter

EDIT: Fix will be included in the upcoming v3.60.03.
