  • Material Not Applying Properly to Mesh?

    Hey guys,

    I am trying to apply a material to a single mesh. The material has a bitmap texture for diffuse and an opacity map.
    The problem: half of the mesh has the material applied correctly - but the other half tiles the material.
    I could understand if these were two separate meshes but it is one single mesh.
    I've tried playing with the texture mapping but no luck.

    If anyone has any suggestions, I would be very grateful!

        Hello,

        You can use the Rhino UV Editor to produce custom mapping by tracing the vertices of each stalk onto the designated map. V-Ray will process the object mapping the same way it is displayed in the Rhino viewport. In other words, the issue at hand is solely on Rhino's side.
