As Micha already kindly mentioned, you can use the Add Attribute buttons and select additional attributes that can add up to the appearance of the material applied on that specific object. By selecting Raytrace Properties and then disabling Cast Shadows, all objects with this material applied will not cast shadows. There is also a way to disable shadows globally, by going to V-Ray Asset Editor > Render Parameters > Switches > Shadows, as described here.

Currently, we are not offering options to disable shadows from the object itself; it can be done either globally or per material, which when applied to a given object, will do the same.
