Vray not working properly with my Rhino

I just bought a new laptop. I installed vray and it opens up in rhino but when I click on render, it freezes and also, the material does not show in the preview tab.

Can someone help me?

• Can you let us know the exact V-Ray/Rhino versions used (V-Ray > Help > About V-Ray)?
• Does this happen even on empty projects?
• Can you forward us the vrayneui logs so we can see if any errors are printed? You can find them in
  • C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Chaos Group\V-Ray for Rhinoceros\vrayneui
