  • Save Irradiance map problems

    Hi,

today I have try the tutorial:
    http://www.spot3d.com/vray/help/VRay...ials_imap1.htm

Hmm, the interface confuse me. After some test I know now, if I set "new map" than I must set extra "auto save". But why is it not in the same option frame?

Also I'm confused from the two path options. The upper path is only needed for "from file" or? If the upper path is used for "from file" only, than I would wish the path option is written in the same line with "from file". Also the two frames around the options confuse me.
If I understand the concept right, than I would make one option frame for write and one for read.

Back to the tutorial: I can not find the "single frame" mode for Irradiance Mode.

    Save Irradiance map problems

In VRay for Max you have the option of saving a map after the render is completed. In VRay for Rhino we do not have this ability yet. You must make the decision to save the map before you render by checking autosave and providing a valid path for it to save to.

New Map is equivalent to Single Frame.

The edit box below "From File" is where you would enter the path for the map you would like to use. I guess it would be more clear if they were on the same line.
