I'm frustrated with how I have to assign a material using Vray. For example, I select all my objects and assign the material "Default Material" to them all using "browse".
I then select grouped objects and assign "Default Material 0" using the browse button. I then rename the material "white glow".
Now, all my objects end up "white glow". So, i wanted to start from scratch and assign everything with the "default material". It didn't work.
I read the thread on linked materials hoping this would help me. It only confused me more.
IMO, the material editor, the choice between copied and instanced materials is confusing. I should be able create a material and assign it to the selected obect and it should be just that simple.
So, how do I simply assign all objects a white diffuse, then assign a group of selected objects a different material?
