Can't unzip materialtester file

Hi gijs,

i can download the file, but I get error messages when I want to unzip your file. Can you post a new file?

Windows built-in zip tool won't unzip the file, but WinZip will. Give that a try.

I think it would have been better to have a direct link to the textures (without c:/documents settings...administrator...etc) because right now we have to "redirect" the maps. not a big deal, but some people can be mixed by this.
also when uploading and downloading new material, if we use texture, it would be nice to make them "direct path" also.

When I get a second free I will repost the files. I will make the zip file an exe file that will put all the files in the correct folder.

I have been using it and I think we should make some whay to share the images but also the material params so that we all can lern.

Any ideas on how to share the mat params ? an image or just text because of size?

the other way if we want to share into this forum is to link the images of the result to the exported material into a zip file if there is a map.

a simple material I use to render white plaster or concrete painted white walls.
quite usefull in architecture renderings.

If you proceed to the downloads section and then to VISMATS you can upload materials there. I believe you must be logged into our website.

I think we do have it converted to Sketchup - I'm not sure why it isn't posted yet. I'll ask around about that.
