You can now download the Material Studio. Please note that this file is created for creating materials in a gamma corrected environment.

I was trying the latest material studio just now and it was rendering a final quality, large image. In the middle, I selected small image and got a crash. C++ runtime error, pure virtual something something.

Just letting you know.

Hi everybody,

I have Rhino 4.0 + Vray and I tried to install the materialstudio.exe directly, no success... Can somebody tell me how to install the MaterialStudio 'cause I can't find any information about the right installation and Start... Should I install it via Rhino or does it works "stand-alone" ?

The MaterialStudio is a standalone application, and does not require V-Ray for Rhino or V-Ray for Sketchup. All you should have to do, is run the installation application from our site, and then just run the program.

If you are experiencing issues with the installation or running the application, please contact our support team by clicking on the "Support" tab at the top of our site, then choose "CONTACT OUR SUPPORT TEAM", and then you can choose "V-Ray for Rhino - I need help!". Once you fill out and submit that form, a support case will be created, and our support team will help you further.
