Hi guys,
i need to make stronger shadows (more contrast / darker shadows)in my renderings using a studio setup (no sun)
I have a white reflective floor (IOR 2) with a white block hovering just above the floor (as an example...) but the shadows are very light grey. I also need shadows that are blurry and not sharp.
In your manual it says the following on page 23 "If you want to have a stronger shadow, we do not recommend you set the intensity way high and
make the light size really small. It's better to use a different light type in V-Ray. Please see dialogue box of how to create a Parallel Light later.".....
This never gets explained (later on in the manual)as stated and i cant seem to find parallel lights in Rhino.
What would be the best way to get stronger shadows using white reflective materials??
Here is the image and the settings (there is an HDRI map on the background slot)
