  • Vray Emissive Material Problem

I can't create an emissive material. I followed the vray for rhino manual but i can't obtain the same result. Are there any special settings to set in vray render options like illumination or similar? I want to create a red led light and a screen illumination, something similar to ipod. Please help me! ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

Maybe you use the phys cam and than you must set the intensity of the emitter material very high - try 1000 or more.

Yes it is a bit of a hassle. We're planning on supporting physical light units as soon as possible. This should make it a bit easier to gauge proper intensities for a given exposure.

This is the result T obtain with 1000 of intensity... I'm quite happy... for a simple test

How can i color the light? Some texture or any special setting in the materials?

Assign a texture to the emitter material. For making materials read the tutorial here:
