    how can i create a outer glow effect on lights

    mine looks like this.. would like it to have a glowish thing

    Hi Zaza,

    I'd do this in Photoshop with Diffuse Glow (under Filter-distort-diffuse glow). This will affect all selected areas (or the whole image if nothing is selected). If Diffuse Glow doesn't give you enought control, then alternatively you can select the bulbs, then apply a feather (select menu - modify - feather) and apply a stroke (edit menu - stroke) to the outside of the bulbs. This will create a soft halo in whatever color you choose around the bulb. You should get the effect you are looking for that way. I do this quite often. Also, you might want to consider playing with a white lens flare applied from the center of the bulb. That too can sometimes create a nice look. Hopes this helps,

      alternatively, you can use the diffuse glow plugin from Richard Rosenman. It has more options. You can find it on his website under software, free stuff.
