Can't get DR Spawner to work

Tried distributed rendering today and can't get it to work. Master and slave were visable to each other via a PING.

Got an error message like this: Couldn't connect to slave xxxxxx because target computer actively blocked it.

DR Spawner is running on all slaves and there is no firewall.

Any help?

My IT guy said there were no firewalls. But I didn't know to ask about "the default windows xp firewall".

Do you have experience with that error message? Does it mean firewall ONLY or should we be looking at other things as well.

Does DR Spawner require a specific port # for communication?

Still can't get it to work.

it works for V-Ray for Rhino 1.05.29, but it doesn't work for SketchUp 1.48.xx
