  • black lines in render

    Hi,

I'm rendering an interior night time scene and cannot get rid of black lines. I have put several point lights in and am using Gi but not sun and sky.

I've looked at all the comments i could find, the only thing i cant try is "ignore light normals" as i cant find it on toolbar. I have deleted my lights, used Gi with sun, change physcal camera properties, nothing seems to work!

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Re: black lines in render

    Welcome aboard!

First of all, it would help if you could do screenshots of your settings or upload your scene somewhere (in both cases, make use of any filesharing/webhosting platform and provide some links).

If you can't do this for some reason, please describe your problem more precise. What do those lines look like, could they originate from empty render buckets? Are they randomly spread or follow a pattern, are they thin or thick? Continous or broken?
    What engines are in use?
Do you have something in front of the camera that distracts the view?
Do you have duplicate objects in your scene?

    Your turn

    Cheers,
    Matt

      hey thanks for the reply,

I copied everything into a new default file and started from scratch, that seemed to work! It may have been a case of just restarting.
