I've been playing around with Bongo and VRay and wanted to know if anybody had an ideal hardware configuration they've been using. Right now I've noticed to spread out the animation renderings via Distributed Rendering slows down the rendering time and could be prone to crashing. However, if you have the animation rendering on a single computer with alot of processor power it renders pretty steady. The third option being having the same file opened among 2 or 3 computers with each computer rendering a frame in sequence of one another.
Does anybody know any equipment to boost a single computer's processor power or can recommend a single workstation that could crunch a bongo animation by itself? Our Marketing Dept. is demanding flicker free HD quality animations which leads me to try using the DMC + LC settings that SchultzeWorks talked about a few years back for his Philco animation.
