Grass 4 Exterior

Hi folks,


the good old question - what is your way of rendering grass in rhino? Are there any alternatives to the iGrass for Max?

. I have tried the Grass on Flying Architecture, but I'm not really pleased with the outcome.
(Here I'd like to thank Matus for all the free great models on FA)
. I have also tried RhinoHair, but it takes ages to calculate.


Any ideas/workflows?

I use to create my own proxy grass patch and then use a Rhino scattering script to place the grass in my terrain. Something similar to this tutorial: http://www.peterguthrie.net/blog/200...utorial-part-1

That sounds awsome. When is the whole thing planned for? And what topics do you want to concenrtate on?
I think, the whole Vray for Rhino Community would appreciate it, if you made also a grass tut.
