Wish: disable material layers

Hi,

for temporary needs it could be great to get enable/disable switches for material layers like know from the BRDF layer and reflection/refraction.

Could you please describe a case where such workflow would demand this change?

For example I rendered a watch model and the reflection layer of the glass caused a strange effect in some views, so temporary I needed to disable the reflections. The material was no BRDF material and so I missed a way to disable the reflections.

An other example - some times I need to switch between two or three versions of a material. I could create a material with three diffuse layers for wood A/B/C and could quick enable the needed wood, if needed.

So, like the BRDF material allow to disable reflection and refraction it could be possible to disable the independent material layers.
