I think this may be an old request, but could not find anythinghere. And I also think (and hope to be wrong) this may be more of a limitation of Rhino, but I really wish we have better preview of the material in a Rhino shaded viewport.
Currently it does show the Diffuse map or the Binding texture, but if the diffuse is a brick shader, or tile, even if it is only a color corrected bitmap, we can't see the effects in the viewport.
Having this kind of feedback, would make material creation a much simpler process, without having to use RT render to guess what noise values should I use, for example.
