  • Any chance for a 'Section area render'

Just a small wish, and I'm not sure if it's already been asked for, but is there any chance we could have the capability to do a 'section area render'? - similar to the one in Flamingo?!

I've recently done a rendering which takes a long time to finish (even if I turn down some of the multipliers) - therefore If I make some material changes, it would be nice to 'select' an area to render rather than having to render the whole thing again?
    Cheers

... very easy to do now: use the "renderwindow" command.

Right-Clicking on the Render Button in the VfR Toolbar will get you the RenderWindow command

It could also be nice to render an object. Quite often the scene is very simple, and I have to change some minor geometry. At the moment I use renderinwindow. However its hard to pick the exact same area to rerender if the first test wasn't quite right. If I could just rerender the object that would be great. It would also mean the shadow around the object doesn't render and it would save time.
