Hi,
When using the default materials fromt he Vray library, they behave as expected but when using the ones from the “Glass” folder something strange happens:
When applying one of these materials to a SketchUp face, either with SketchUp paint bucket tool or V-Ray’s “apply to selection” contextual menu option, the material (named, for example, “glass”) is indeed applied to the face, but a duplicate of that material is also created and added to SketchUp (named “Glass 1”). Every new application of that material to another face duplicate the material again, so that each face has essentially a different material…
This happens to several of the Glass materials but not to the others (I haven’t tested them all…). When creating a new glass material (not from the default library) and giving it the same material properties in Vray, the same problem happens again with that material. Example of the material created from scratch but with that same behaviour is attached.
I think this problem has been happening also with VRay 3.6 for Sketchup.
Can you duplicate that problem?
How can I avoid this problem?
Thanks in advance for your help.
