  • VFB Compare Images

    Hi,
    here is my problem.
    I am rendering an image.
I save this image in the VFB history.
I make corrections (exposure, color balance,...) on this image and I save it again.
So I have 2 images saved, one with corrections the other without corrections.
When I want to compare these 2 images (A & B), the corrections are not taken into account and the 2 images (A & B) are the same on the screen.

Is this normal or a bug?

The described behavior is actually normal.
It is however something we can look into and improve if possible.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

To compare corrections you can use the following workflow:
    # Create an empty folder to store some correction preset files (C:\temp\Corrections for example)
    # Set a preset corrections path in the VFB Settings to that folder (C:\temp\Corrections) - Options/VFB Settings/Layers/...
    # Correct your image and choose the Save layer tree preset button on the Layers panel toolbar. Save the preset in the same folder
    # Correct your image in a different way and save a new preset
    # Use the Layer presets menu to preview your corrections - just by hovering over them

    Hope that helps,
    Konstantin
