We bought a subscription based on the compatibility with Enscape, it was suggested that you simply could render your Enscape scenes with V-Ray. I found that V-Ray did not support neither the extension Skatter's proxies, Enscape's linked objects nor Enscape lights. All of them are important parts in my workflow.
To use V-ray, it seems I have to make and maintain a separate version with V-ray proxies and lights - to get a render that - for the average user - looks more ore less the same as Enscape. (Which is not worth the extra time, really.)
Enscape is our main rendering solution because of its one-click, no-fuss VR-abilities.
Am I right or have I missed something important? Does anyone have any experience to share?
