Cannot save SketchUp model while running Vantage Live Link

When I have Vantage running and I make model edits in SketchUp while Vantage is running, I cannot save my SketchUp model while Vantage is running but I bet an error that says CFileException 0. I posted this to the Vantage Forums but they are saying this is a limitation of VRay for SketchUp.

Thank you for your post.

Please note that it is correct - you need to close Vantage to be able to save your model in SketchUp. The improvement from our side would be to print a warning instead of an error message.
I will link your forum post to internal report SK-3681 and will let you know once the changes are made.

I have the same problem with vray for sketchup you are getting a bit boring I don't know how to fix it

alexpacio2015 please install the latest V-Ray version in order to see the updated message. Note that you still need to close Vantage to save SketchUp file - this workflow has not changed.

Open Vantage, In SketchUp go to Live Link - Custom Live Link and use Vantage this way to be able to still save you SketchUp file while Vantage is running. This is my go-to workflow now. Not sure why this is the standard for running Vantage and SketchUp. We obviously want to be able to save changes we are making to our SketchUp model with Vantage running. This limitation is a bug in my opinion, and should be fixed.
