Light Mix option not available in VRB?

First time using the Render Buffer ‘Render Elements’ option - struggling to get it to work.

I’ve rendered my scene using Chaos Cloud, and I have all the constituent parts of the rendered scene saved in a folder on my desktop, including the .exr file, which I’m trying to load into the V-Ray Frame Buffer (VFB) to make lighting adjustments. However, the ‘Render Elements’ option is greyed out and not selectable.

The scene was rendered with the Light Mix render element included, with the ‘Individual Lights’ option selected. I rendered using CPU settings. Could this be an issue with CPU rendering, or am I missing something in my workflow?

Using VRay for Skecthup 6.20.6./ Sketchup 2024 / MBP M1 Max / Mac OS 14.6.1.

Hello Maitken,
To add a Render Element to your VFB Layer, the Source in your Layers Tab must be set to Composite - example. You are welcome to find this in our documentation.
