Hey Everyone,
I haven't been able to find any posts with this exact problem so here goes...
When I create a Vray linked material from a sketchUp material, it seems to be working for the most part, as it shows up in the Vray material
editor, but when I click on the big "M" in the diffuse layer the bitmap for the texture map is missing. If I render or hit update in the material preview it displays the diffuse colour of the material but not the texture bitmap.
I noticed that sketchUp isn't referencing actual bitmaps as it appears to be under edit in the material window, but a .skm file. Do you need to extract the bitmaps from the sketchUp materials somehow so that VRay can reference them... I'm sure if that was the case I would have come accross it by now.
I installed the demo on my office computer and it works fine... so I'm stumped. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Thank you kindly for taking the time to read this.
Sincerely,
Matt Schmid
