Hi dkendig,

I tried to install the demo version 1.48.66 in my macbook pro but it can't be installed at all. Will this beta version help?

Config of my macbook pro:
2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
OS X Version 10.6.3 (Snow Leopard)
GeForce 8600M GT with 256 MB Vram
Sketchup Pro 7 (7.1.6859)

ENGHWA - I'm sorry to hear that you had trouble with the current release. It is very possible that the latest beta version will take care of that issue. You are certainly welcome to give it a try. Keep in mind though, this is a beta version. We don't know how stable it is, or how the product will behave in certain situations. Please be sure to back up any important work prior to using the beta, and be aware of the instability if you plan on using it for anything mission critical. That being said, I've added you to the testing group, feel free to try the latest beta version

Dkendig,

I have downloaded the beta version 1.48.82 for OSX. Same thing, can't install at all. Could it be due to previous version of Vray that did not get cleaned up properly? I am sure I did not have my Sketchup opened during installation, and I have admin right to install programs. Isn't it strange?

It seems that nobody else has such problem on the mac except me. Any help would be appreciated.

One thing to add though - I have Podium installed for my Sketchup. Could this be the culprit?

Please try to keep all posts about the beta, in the beta forums, this thread is just to sign up for the beta. I almost missed your last message enghwa!

enghwa - I would suggest checking out the instructions for manually uninstalling VfS, try manually removing it, and then reinstalling. If you have any troubles, please post in the VfSUBetaTesting forum.
