Hey... i've been a member of this forum for about 2 yrs now...

I'm currently using the demo version since about a week... have demo-ed various versions off and on.. hope to save enough to get a licensed version some day... I'd be happy to be a beta tester... if possible... what all would i've to do..?

lijn_1 - New users are always good to have testing our software, they give us the new user perspective. Users that have had our product in the past, are used to various workarounds and workflows, but new users typically can give us the cleanest perspective on what they believe the product should do, and how it should do it. As you learn more, you'll be able to provide more in depth feedback about workflow and things that come with experience, but a new user is just as valuable to us as an old one You've been added, head over to the testing forum to grab the latest beta version.

Joe Average - Glad to hear that you're interested in our product enough to help give us some feedback, and help us turn this product in to something you would want to invest your time (and money) in You've been added to our testing team, you can download the latest beta version from the V-Ray for SketchUp Beta Testing forum. All we ask for is that you report any bugs you come across (there's a post with a template we'd like you to use when reporting a bug). That's pretty much it. We'll ask our testers questions sometimes, like "hey are you guys seeing this bug in the latest version?" and provide some information that we'd like feedback about, but for the most part, we're just counting on you guys to tell us what is broken, so we can fix it and release a fixed version to the public.

Omar - head over to the beta testing forum, there's a link there. I don't post links to the beta in the public forum, and we don't like it when beta testers post questions about beta builds outside of the beta forum either. We try to keep the beta out of the public's hands until we're sure it's ready.
