At my office I have set up 10 computers for distributed rendering. It has worked beautifully in the past, but just recently, the DR is have problems. This is the most notable response from my Render Progress bar:
Render host 10.10.1.99 added
Scene transferred to lab11
Bitmap file "C:\ProgramData\ASGvis\VRayForSketchUp\Textures\Me tal_Seamed.jpg" loaded.
Server 10.10.1.99: Scene loaded; starting render.
Server 10.10.1.99: Starting frame 0.
Render host 10.10.1.120 added
Scene transferred to lab14
Render host 10.10.1.93 added
Scene transferred to lab13
Render host 10.10.1.104 added
Scene transferred to lab12
Ping not received from host 0.0.0.0 for 59406 milliseconds, dropping connection.Render host unknown (10.10.1.120) is not responding
Ping not received from host 0.0.0.0 for 62057 milliseconds, dropping connection.

Render host 10.10.1.120 added
Scene transferred to lab14
Ping not received from host 0.0.0.0 for 51949 milliseconds, dropping connection.
Render host unknown (10.10.1.104) is not responding
Ping not received from host 0.0.0.0 for 57408 milliseconds, dropping connection.
Render host unknown (10.10.1.93) is not responding
Ping not received from host 0.0.0.0 for 58188 milliseconds, dropping connection.
Render host unknown (10.10.1.120) is not responding
In all cases, it has something to do with the DR timing out. I am curious if anyone has run into this issue before. I am trying to think of reasons why it would be timing out and I am not entirely sure.....network connection speed? All the computers are linked via a company network, and they are all running on Windows Vista 32 bit OS.
