  • Can we get an updated vrimage converter?

Is there a new vrimage converter available yet? The "current" (of maybe 2 years ago) converter doesn't work.

thanks for the reminder. We didn't have access to it the last time we had this discussion, but I think we probably have access to it now. No one is going to be in the office for a couple of days, but hopefully we will be able to find an updated version and post it soon.

        Hello Andybot-

I have made sure that the most recent vrimg2exr is posted on spot3d. You can get it from this page - http://spot3d.com/vray/misc/tools/

Please let us know if you have any issues.

        Best regards,

        Corey

awesome!! thanks, it appears to work. I'll take a look and see if it exports channels correctly too.

YES!! Channels work as well. BUT, I had to modify Shimakaze's batch tool to get the correct layer names to read from the vrimg file that's generated from vfsu.

Is there a Mac OS X tool as well? I can't find it on the internet. I tried the windows exe file under virtualbox (Windows XP), but it gives an error (this is not a WIN32 executable).
Would be great to have a native OS X tool.
AMD Ryzen 9, RTX 2080Super, ArchiCAD 24, Vectorworks 2020, Sketchup 2021 Pro, Vray Next for Sketchup, Skatter, Twinmotion 2020

I was wondering myself what would happen on OS X... that's quite a fail.
It would be great to have a more user-friendly conversion tool for both OS's
