Thanks Devin, I probably wont go down that route, seems a bit advanced for me, there must be a reason why my Vray RT keeps crashing, only crashes it seems when I have the RT window open, on a range of very simple scenes, my computer specs are attached...any ideas?

... that appears to be information about your bank, not your computer. Am I reading this correctly?

Nothing seems out of place, are you doing RT GPU renders or RT CPU renders? Also, can you check the memory usage of the SketchUp process in the task manager while you're rendering? Although you have a great deal of RAM, SketchUp can only use 3-4gb of it before it will crash.

Hi Devin I have a 40B SKP scene, when I render:
RT GPU memory usage is only 700MB (compared to 400 MB when not rendering), CPU Usage 44% Max.
RT CPU memory usage is only 760MB CPU Usage 80% to 100% (100% most of the time).
I dont know which mode CPU or GPU RT crashes on...typically it hasnt crashed again.

that sounds like you're most likely not having memory usage issues, unless there is a huge spike in memory usage during a certain action you are doing in the viewport. If it crashes again, try to keep track of what actions you are doing just prior to the crash. Copy and pasting of components, modifying materials, using undo, etc.
              Best regards,

I notice a number of the same bugs that have plagued vfs 2.0 are now the problem of Rhino users as well. Sad to see these problems have not been fixed yet.
