  • Nasty edge-shadows - help

    Hi,

I cannot get rid of those nasty shadows you can notice on below picture. They are showing always on tiles (just simple shapes with texture, pulled a little bit to get real spaces between them). They shows often of furnitures as well (mostly on bright surfaces). I managed to get rid of them in V-RAY 2 but in V3 I'm stuck... Can anybody help me?

Do you have AO enabled in your GI settings?

      Hi Mathew,

No, I don't have it enabled. Should I?

      Cheers,

MLalakStudio Could you please share the project with us so we can investigate in detail and advise accordingly? If this is alright, please send us an archived copy (Extensions > V-Ray > Pack Project) via email or a file-sharing service of your choice to support@chaosgroup.com with a reference to this forum post.
